One Way Or Another debut today at Angoulême in à Novice Hurdle for 4 Year Olds and promptly won. Fantastic day out Delighted for One Way Or Another’s Owners Alex & Jane Nicol. One Way Or Another is superbly trained by Augustin De Boisbrunet & Capucine Augustins wife is a huge help. One Way or Another was given a cracking ride by Maxime Behocaray, a real horseman.

The day was even better for me as both my sons Frank & Rufus came, a great family day out.

One Way Or Another is out of Ryde who is the Granny to Elimay & Goshen.

Very pleased to see ELVIS MAIL winning at Kelso today, he is such a good horse. Think he has won £140k now which is no mean feet considering prize money in the UK not very generous. Thanks to Kelso race course who seem to understand rewarding owner’s pockets helps get more people into our beloved sport.

LOT 24 of the Goffs UK Foals (3rd November 2023) sales is our idea of a Top Class NH horse. If our pockets were deep we would be buying him like a shot, you cannot go wrong with this foal, class, looks, conformation, pedigree the Colt is the real Mc Coy.

Nice to see Eloi Du Puy win today at Kelso . He always showed a lot of promise here as a three year old before he left to go to the UK.

Eloi Du Puy is by a fantastic stallion over here called “Jeu Saint Eloi”, out of a lovely big Martaline mare .

We always thought a lot of him and he will hopefully go on to bigger and better things.

Le Chiffre D’Or bolted up on his first run over here in France at Le Touquet on Sunday for Gordon & Su Hall. Le Chiffre D’Or is trained by Hugo Merienne at Chantilly.
