Very happy to see that Saint Anapolino won the maiden hurdle at Exeter this afternoon. He was always very easy from a foal upwards known here as Sponge, as that year all the foals had Nickname’s from the series Dad’s Army. Delighted for the owners & Alan Walter’s plus the trainers Mr. Philip Hobbs & Mr Johnson.

There should be a lot more to come from this son of Jeu St Eloi & the dam has a very nifty page being the half sister to Aterisk.

Extremely Happy to see I Shut That D’Or winning today at Plumpton, he is such a nice horse. We sold him as a three year old & he comes from a very good AQPS family having First Gold in his pedigree.

It was great to see Elvis Mail winning again today at Kelso, he has been such a terrific horse for the Ladies Who, who in turn really appreciate Elvis.

Delighted with La Seule Façon winning today at Royan, she hacked up by 16 lengths for her owner Iain Watters, who deserves every bit of success. A very tough 4 yr old Filly by Cima de Tromphe ex Captivate (Saint des Saints).

Weather conditions were very wet, but that did not seem to bother La Seule Façon, she won going away again.

Had a good day yesterday with Makhu winning at Chaser Day the 2 year old Championship AQPS Gelding classes. Makhu is by Beaumec de Houelle ex Burma & is Cut the Mustards Nephew. All the classes we strongly defended & we came out on Top. Makhu had never left the Stud till yesterday, he was Rock Solid in every way.

Dancing City put up a tough fight to win at Punchestown today, a very game performance.

Over the Moon that Dancing City won the Grade 1 at Aintree today.

As I have said before he was a cracking, athletic, bold Foal who to us had all the right characteristics to be a good horse.
