Le Chiffre D’Or bolted up on his first run over here in France at Le Touquet on Sunday for Gordon & Su Hall. Le Chiffre D’Or is trained by Hugo Merienne at Chantilly.

I have not been doing the blogs for 6 months due to work. Hence a lot of winners have been missed, & not written about. Also I (Lune) am pretty rubbish with technology.

Chuffed to bits to see HIERACHY winning the Bumper at Ayr today.

HIERACHY is by the same stallion as Gold Tweet who is an extremely good stallion called ON EST BIEN & his stats are incredible. Hierachy is also out of a cracking mare who won 14 races 10 on the flat & 4 from 6 outings over hurdles. A very tough family,

Extremely happy & delighted for Alex & Jane. Also a very good job done by Nick Alexander Hierachy’s trainer, and the whole team at Kinneston who do a super job.

I Shut that D’Or as a 2 year old.

So happy to see I Shut that D’Or win the 12.20 at Wincanton today on his 3rd run over hurdles.

He was known as Ronnie here & always very easy & bold from foal to when he was sold as a three year old. I shut that D’or is very closely related to First Gold & out of a mare by Nickname

He is out of our mare Miss Vitoria who is a 3/4 sister to the top stallion Blue Brezil. Delighted for Gordon & Su Hall who now own him & for champion trainer Paul Nicholls.

CHARM OFFENSIVE

Extremely good performance by Charm Offensive to win the 12.35 at Ayr today with top weight. Charm Offensive is by Le Triton who was by El Gran Senor an amazing race horse who sadly was virtually infertile. Frank & I wanted to use Le Triton for this reason, & with Charm Offensive’s Dam by Turgeon equals class & trip.

Pleased to see Loup de Maulde get of the mark at Huntingdon in the 3.08pm. Obviously a change of yard has done him a world of good.

Good to see Event of Sivola winning the 4 miler (14.23) at Hexham yesterday.
