Friend or Foe, homebred 4 year old by Walk in the Park ex Mandchou, had a nice exercise canter when winning at Chepstow today. His mother has just had a cracking bay colt by Karaktar (High Chaparral) born the 5.04.2019. Friend or Foe is owned by Gordon & Su Hall & trained by Paul Nicholls.

Elvis Mail cruised, as expected, to an impressive win in the 1st at Kelso today. He is a horse that is going places. He is trained by Nick Alexander & was ridden by Lucy Alexander.

It was nice to see Mixboy winning again today at Musselburgh, to record his 10th victory.

Empire de Maulde won again today at Doncaster nicely, completely different ground to last time. Empire defied a handicap rise of 11lbs and won by 4 lengths.

The star of the day for us was Elvis Mail getting a very good third in the grade 2 at Kelso he is a lovely big horse & will still improve a huge amount.

Ange des Malberaux makes it 5 wins from 7 starts today at Warwick this season since going to Dan Skelton. He is still improving as he won off a 7lbs higher mark today.

Innovate & Vision Du Puy left earlier this morning for Ireland & England respectively.

Innovate is visiting Walk in the Park at Grange Stud, & Vision du Puy has been sold to continue her racing career for Mr J. P. Mc Manus.

Empire de Maulde opened his account in the UK today by winning the 2.50pm at Newcastle, he won very easily by 13 lengths.

A multiple bumper winner over here in France, he has taken a while to acclimatize to his new surroundings, but looks as though he has recaptured the sparkle he showed in 2017.

He has the physique & breeding to make a really good chaser being by Spanish Moon & his half brother winning one of the top cross country races at Craon this year.

We almost had a double on the card when NIKGARDE finished a neck second in the bumper. He was very unlucky since he was hemmed in on the rail and very green but finished well. We thought a great deal of this horse before we sold him as a store. He will make up into a very good horse.

Torpillo confirms the immense promise he showed 1st time out by winning again the first at Sandown today by 22 lengths.

Friend or Foe made a fantastic winning debut in the UK in winning the Juvenile Hurdle at Taunton today. He was bred by us, he is by Walk in the Park from a very prolific AQPS family.

Elvis Mail bolted up by 13 lengths today at Kelso. He looks a very useful prospect for Nick Alexander. He is a 1/2 brother to two other winners we have sold, Dali Mail & Chez Castel Mail. We have a very nice 2 yr old 1/2 brother by Sinndar here who is grey as well.
