Massive achievement with Thenac winning today at Bordeaux race course, he had had one run in his life at Pau where he hacked up, then not run for 2 years. Then comes out today at Bordeaux & wins. Thenac was originally trained by G. Macaire, & Thenac is a very big horse plus was a late foal, so running him as a three year old was asking a lot. Very HAPPY to see GINGER MAIL win the first at Doncaster today, AKN with us as Terry, literally hacked up. Very well trained by Nick Alexander & many Congratulations to his owners Mrs David Coltman & Mrs J Douglas Miller. Ginger Mail was very easy to do from a foal to when we sold him as a 3 year old By the great Stallion Sinndar.

Over the Moon to see Cut the Mustard win the 3.20 chase today at Leicester. Cut the Mustard is trained by the champion trainer & owned by The Unlikely Lads. Mustard won two bumpers for us before we sold her. She is a cracking mare from a very good tough AQPS family her 1/2 sister who also won is in foal to Beaumec de Houelle a very good new stallion by Martaline.

So happy to see Charm offensive win the 1.55 at Ayr today, Charm Offensive has been so consistent & today got her head in front. Delighted for her trainer Nick Alexander & her owners The Nags to Riches partnership. Charm Offensive is a big mare like her Dam Go Lison. She was never a bother as a youngster & took everything in her stride.

Very happy to see that Dancing City bolted up in his 4 year old maiden Point to Point in Ireland yesterday, Hugh Bleahen who bought him off us as a foal very kindly let me know, Hugh had told me a few weeks earlier that they thought a great deal of the horse.

Ricochet winning at Craon

Ricochet hacked up by 16 lengths in the 4th race at Craon today. The ground was very heavy (4.7) on the Chase Track but Ricochet made nothing of it. Ricochet is a beautifully put together big horse by Walk in the Park ex Primadona, he is now coming into his own. Delighted for his owners Iain & Linda Watters & Ricochet’s trainer Augustin de Boisbrunet.

Le Chiffre D’Or makes it 2 from 2 over hurdles by winning the first at Hereford today, he is learning all the time & has a very good attitude, he is a chaser in the making. Le Chiffre D’or has a full sister, (foal, by No Risk at All) & a yearling by Bucks Boum. Miss Vitoria Le Chiffre D’Or dam is a 3/4 sister to the very good stallion Blue Brezil, Miss Vitoria is in Foal to Prince Gibraltar. Delighted for Le Chiffre D’Ors owners Gordon & Su Hall & champion trainer Paul Nicholls.

CANCAN DANCES IN AT AYR

Over the moon with CanCan who won the first race at Ayr today, she has been so consistent nearly always finishing in the shake up, & today won well. Delighted for her trainer Nick Alexander ( who with his team have done a great job with Cancan) & the syndicate members & jockey Henry Brook who gave her a peach of a ride.
