Extremely good performance by Charm Offensive to win the 12.35 at Ayr today with top weight. Charm Offensive is by Le Triton who was by El Gran Senor an amazing race horse who sadly was virtually infertile. Frank & I wanted to use Le Triton for this reason, & with Charm Offensive’s Dam by Turgeon equals class & trip.

Pleased to see Loup de Maulde get of the mark at Huntingdon in the 3.08pm. Obviously a change of yard has done him a world of good.

Good to see Event of Sivola winning the 4 miler (14.23) at Hexham yesterday.

HOW’s THAT winning today at Pontchateau trained by Augustin de Boisbrunet, Top Man

How’s That just hacked up in the first at Pontchateau, absolutely delighted, How’s That vwon on the bridle. Frank broke her in last Autumn & did a lot of work with her.

Louis Colson gave her a peach of a ride, very good up & coming Young jockey.

Well what a great day 35 minutes later Ginger Mail wins the 15.43 at Ayr as well. So happy, for Nick Alexander & his team plus Ginger Mails owners Mrs David Coltman & Mrs Douglas Miller. Ginger Mail known here as Terry will in my opinion come on a great deal for that run as he is still inexperienced.

Over the moon with Elvis Mail winning the 15.08 at Ayr today.
