Just brilliant PRENDARDE won again today the big Grand Course de Steeple Chase Cross Country (black Type) at Compiegne, he literally hacked up. I know I have said this before, Prengarde was fed totally on artificial milk & it blows that myth out of the water that horses reared this way are never racehorses.

Lune breaking Le Chiffre D’Or in

Le Chiffre D’Or made a winning debut of hurdles today at Hereford, easy, he is a homebred, by No Risk At All out of Miss Vitoria. Frank & I broke him in before he was sold to his great owners Gordon & Su Hall. many thanks to champion Trainer Paul Nicholls

Le Chiffre D’Or is a big lovely individual & very athletic. Extremely level head, a cracking horse.

Ricochet won well the 1st race (a chase) at Saumur today, absolutely delighted for his owners Iain & Linda Watters & trainer Augustin de Boisbrunet.

Ricochet is a big horse (a homebred) by Walk in the Park ex Primadonna, Primadona won 5 races herself round top tracks, Hopefully Ricochet will now follow in his mum’s footsteps.

PRENGARDE won again very impressively at Compiegne today, it was his 4th win on the trot in the cross country races and now scheduled to run in the graded race at the same course in November. very mind blowing as he is only 5 years old & had 74kg on his back won by ten lengths on the bridle. He has a very correct, big scopey 1/2 sister by the Top young Stallion NO RISK AT ALL, who is for sale, and was weaning a month ago. She is very athletic & classy.

Good to see Empire de MAULDE back in the winners enclosure last night In the 6.50 at Aintree, he is a very tough & genuine horse.

Prengarde (known here as Reggie) won his third race on the bounce at Compiegne today.

I am extremely happy as when he was born his dam Nikoline had no milk. I fed him solely on artificial milk, every 20 minutes for the first 48 hours then moved it back to every hour for a week then every 2 hours for 2 weeks, I never used a bottle, but put a little jug near Nikoline’s udder every time, so he never associated me as the surrogate mother. It is not true that they never make race horses, Prengarde is the Proof as he has now won 5, & he is only 5 years old.

Ryde had a cracking colt foal on the 8th of May, the Colt is by Born to Sea. We have decided to call him The Vesper as it comes from the orignal Ian Fleming book Casino Royale. The Vesper is a Drink made up of 3 parts Gin, 2 parts Vodka & 1 part Lillet ( from Bordeaux), a slice of Lemon peel, Ice & of course shaken not stirred !!

Prengarde

Prengarde won with great ease again (now 2 from 2 races), the cross country at Compiegne today. He was carrying 5Kgs more this time, 73Kgs, he strung the other runners out like the washing. He was very athletic as a foal, but like most Kapgarde’s in my opinion, they improve with time.

Prengarde looked a picture today, absolutely delighted for his owners, Guy, Patrick and Paul; and also the trainers Guillaume Macaire and Hector Lageneste .

Cracking start to Friend or Foés chasing career today by winning the Beginners Chase at Uttoxeter. He jumped like a buck & won easily. Delighted for the owners Gordon & Su Hall & Thé Champion Trainer.
